Swedish photographer Stefan Holm has some mighty fine portraits on his website. The navigation is really annoying, but have a little patience and you'll find your visit worth while. [via K10k]

I don't usually post tech-links here, but this one was too interesting to let go. When everyone seem to go digital and, hi-tech Leica - long-time makers of fine cameras - have introduced the the Leica - MP. It is a new viewfinder camera which is 100% mechanical and can be used without batteries. I would love to get my hands on one of those, but the price roughly equals that of a state of the art digital SLR so I'm afraid it is outside my budget - this month anyway :-)

Los Angeles Times fires photographer for manipulating front-page photograph in violation of the paper's policy. See the two original photos and combined result here. Personally I think image manipulation in news coverage is a serious offence and is indeed a valid reason for dismissal. I just hope the rest of the news media out there have equally high standards. What do you think? Update:Related discussion Mads @ 11:35 GMT+1 | a |
